Welcome to the Banbury Star Cyclists' Club web site.

Banbury Star is one of the oldest clubs in the country, forming in 1891 with locals riding and racing around the county of Oxfordshire. Recent years has seen more and more members meeting on a Sunday morning during winter months, battling against the elements to get in some solid winter miles for racing in the warmer months. Rides meet at The Dog and Gun pub in the centre of Banbury at 8.30am every Sunday.

The Banbury Star CC holds regular 10m, 13m and 25m time trials all summer, and promote an open time trial, the notorious Hardriders 23m TT in March. We also host the Morgan Ashurst Road Race in June (formerly Bluestones) for 3rd and 4th Cat in which the riders battle Edge Hill 3 times!
